Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Education and Outreach, the Education and Outreach Administrator will provide support for all education and outreach initiatives of the ASNB. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. They will assist with program logistics, scheduling, record-keeping, and supporting the evaluation of program activities. The successful candidate will embody a professional yet approachable demeanor and contribute meaningfully to a collaborative team environment at ASNB.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for all in-person, outreach, and educational programs
- Respond to inquiries from staff, clients, and volunteers regarding current outreach and community programming
- Manage ongoing registration, communications, and data entry for all community programs and outreach initiatives
- Support the Education and Outreach department with the admin aspects of the delivery and expansion of community programs and outreach
- Assist in the creation and updating of materials for Education and Outreach programs
- Attend staff meetings, departmental meetings, and working groups as appropriate
- Coordinate and participate in monthly department meetings, including preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and distributing meeting summaries
- Assist in generating program reports and ensuring accurate, up-to-date, and objective recordkeeping
Qualifications:
- A 2-yr diploma in health, social services field an/or education
- Relevant experience in the field of education, social work, community services; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience in the nonprofit or charitable sector is preferred
- Experience in group facilitation, public presentations, community programing and events
- Community awareness with the ability to build trusting relationships with community partners
- Must embody the vision and values of the ASNB
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Hands-on experience with database systems and tools
- Proficient in Zoom and Microsoft programs
- Sensitive to the impact of Alzheimer's disease on the individual and the family
- Must be approachable, have solid communication skills and a warm positive attitude with active listening skills
- Experience working with diverse communities and a commitment to equity and inclusion
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of MS Office
- Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset
- Possess a valid NB driver's license and be available to travel within the region
