The Role:

We are looking for a Fuel Coordinator to join our team of professionals in our Shoreland Transport office in Stellarton, NS. This position will require strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and monitor daily fuel transactions to identify discrepancies, errors in fueling locations, or unusual activity.
  • Track fuel pricing and analyze vendor options to identify the lowest-cost fueling locations
  • Maintain and monitor fuel card numbers and PINS to ensure accuracy, security, and proper usage.
  • Investigate and resolve issues with fuel cards, including troubleshooting, replacements, and account maintenance.
  • Communicate with drivers to provide support and promptly address questions, concerns, and address mistakes.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly fuel usage and cost reports for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of TruckMate systems would be an asset
  • Excellent communication skills for communicating with drivers and vendors
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Previous experience in fuel coordination, logistics, transportation, or administration
  • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining accuracy, security, and compliance
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
