Skilled Labourer
Location: Dartmouth
Shift: Monday to Friday, short-term assignments
Pay Rate: $20.00/ hr

Overview

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Skilled Labourers to assist on a construction site in Shearwater. This role involves physically demanding taks and requires individuals who can work safely and efficiently under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools such as jackhammers, picks, shovels, and sledgehammers
• Pile and move rocks, stones, and other construction materials
• Transport materials using a wheelbarrow
• Perform lifting and general movement of items around the site
• Assist with site clean-up and organization
• Follow instructions from the site supervisor and complete other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Must provide own hard hat and steel-toed boots
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
• Physically fit and able to work on your feet all day
• Previous construction or general labour experience is an asset but not required
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow safety protocols
