Job Summary
Reporting to the Regional Director of Pharmacy Services, the Systemic Therapy Manager of Pharmacy Services position is responsible for the coordination and implementation of oncology therapy funding for the Provincial Cancer Care Program and Regional Medicine Program. This position is responsible for developing budget impact analyses related to oncology therapies, developing clinical approval criteria, monitoring oncology therapy utilization, and advising on various aspects related to regional/provincial oncology drug budgets. The Systemic Therapy Manager of Pharmacy Services participates in and informs the pricing negotiation of oncology therapies and establishes Product Listing Agreements with various manufacturers to facilitate cost-effective pricing. This position is also responsible for strategic oversight and leadership of the pharmacy component of the Aria provincial oncology electronic patient record. Additional responsibilities include participation on regional, provincial, and/or national committees; financial management including operating budget accountability; participation in the development, implementation and evaluation of Pharmacy Services strategic directions and objectives as well as process improvement projects; and human resources management including performance reviews and attendance management.

Job Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in pharmacy is required.
Master's degree in Health Administration, Public Administration, Business or a related field is preferred
Experience
A minimum of five (5) years' experience within the last seven (7) in a hospital pharmacy environment with experience in oncology pharmacy practice.
