Our Homecare Operations team is currently accepting applications for a Full Time Staffing Officer to join our Home Support.
Reporting to the Staffing and Sheduling Manager
Responsibilities:
- Assigning and scheduling staff according to pre-approved requirements and standards
- Scheduling Northwood employee's groups of clients/shifts in a designated area
- Works with Supervisors to address issues/concerns
- Accepting new clients, processing Client increases, decreases and Client on holds from Intake
- Creating and maintaining current and advanced schedules
- Communication with Clients and Field Staff via Phone, email and Procura text
- Accepting and approval of vacation requests via Portal
- Technology troubleshooting
- Completing other tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Degree/Diploma (minimum 2 year program) in Business or Computer Technology
- One to two years of relevant work experience
- Computer software training required (e.g. Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Experience working with Pocura and Procura Mobile preferred/an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to regularly deal with challenging issues while maintaining a professional attitude
- Strong logical and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to manage change effectively
- Flexibility to work various shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis
Hours: 80 hours bi-weekly - Days/Evenings
