The incumbent is responsible for the full management of the Company's mail services. Key responsibilities include sorting, distributing, scanning, and sending internal and external mail, both regular and special deliveries. The role ensures service quality, efficiency, and timeliness, while monitoring expenses to stay within allocated budgets. The incumbent also contributes to the opening and management of supplier accounts, as well as various related tasks under the Finance department. Additionally, they ensure the proper functioning of mail-handling equipment.
- Manage the processing, scanning, and distribution of internal and external mail in accordance with established policies.
- Oversee regular and express mail shipments, ensuring service quality and adherence to allocated budgets.
- Handle incoming communications by fax and email, maintaining efficient daily volume management.
- Support Finance operations through account reconciliation, supplier management, and various administrative tasks.
- Technical proficiency in operating mail-handling equipment, including inserters, postage machines, and scanners.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality of mail processing and scanning, along with effective time management to handle daily tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide courteous, accurate service, with strong organizational skills and accountability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
- On-site work only (remote work is not available for this position).
