TEMPORARY OPPORTUNITY (1 year)

The Department of Health is seeking an individual to join the Acute Care Branch as an Administrative Assistant, in Fredericton.
The successful candidate will be a member of a multidisciplinary team working in a challenging work environment.
As the Administrative Assistant you will:
- Provide support to various professionals as well as management;
- Compose, format and proofread letters and memos in both official languages;
- Respond to telephone inquiries and coordinate information requests;
- Prioritize and maintain a schedule of appointments/meetings with appropriate briefings;
- Preparation of agendas, taking minutes, formatting reports and presentations;
- Make travel arrangements;
- Log, track, and compose correspondence;
- Verify, code, and process a variety of forms and invoices;
- File and retrieve documents; and
- Perform various other related duties as required.

Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma supplemented by successful completion of a one (1) year post-secondary program in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability on your application.

Salary: $1,625 to $1,971 bi-weekly (ASL 3)
