Job Summary
The Secretary I provides highly confidential administrative and technical support for the Professional Practice Director and Consultants. Specifically, the position provides advanced administrative/secretarial, word processing, information management, and communication support in oral and written format (minutes, document compilation and design, e-media), and coordinates regional professional practice events (i.e., recognition ceremonies, conferences and webinars). The Secretary I ensures the prioritization of office functions and works with varied managers, administrative supports, multiple individuals and groups within and outside NL Health Services'.

Job Qualifications
Successful completion of a two-year Office Administration program OR completion of a one-year Office Administration program from an approved/recognized college supplemented by two years of experience within the last four in a progressively responsible clerical role is required.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
A satisfactory record of work performance is required.
*Proof of a current office administration program is required. To be considered current, it must have been completed within the last five years, unless it has been used in recent positions. This must be demonstrated on the application form.
