Key Responsibilities:

The manager is accountable for overseeing the development, implementation and monitoring of Hydro's ethics and compliance programs including managing non-compliance reporting. This position will maintain and update various employment related policies including the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. The position will manage intake of complaints via the confidential reporting line and manage and support investigation processes and ensure alignment with legislative requirements, internal policies, and industry best practice, board directives, and organizational values - fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct across the organization.

Key responsibilities also include managing conflict of interest disclosures; providing triage assessment and prioritizing reports of non-compliance including assignment to appropriate investigators; engaging functional team members for policy updates and delivery; providing timely reporting and status updates on ethics complaints and compliance monitoring. This position facilitates training and workshops on ethical topics and contributes to the development and review of HR and employment policies.

What We're Looking For:

A proactive leader with an ability to multi-task, act independently, and work with others in a collaborative work environment; excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent analytical and time-management skills; an ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations and reports to various levels of the organization and external stakeholders.­ The candidate must be extremely effective dealing with uncertain situations and demonstrate a high level of integrity, initiative, positive attitude, and mutual respect.

What You'll Need:

Completion of a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Law Degree or related field.­ A Masters' program in such areas is considered an asset. ­Professional designation(s) such as Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, member of the Law Society, or another area that is relevant to compliance management would be an asset.­ We are seeking a minimum of 7 to 10 years' progressive experience in the areas of investigations, ethics, compliance, employment law, employee relations or risk management with 5 or more years' leadership experience including formal investigation training.

Some travel or flexibility in schedule is occasionally required.
