About Us
Accel Property Group ("APG") is a New Brunswick-based real estate investment and development company with a growing portfolio of multi-family, commercial, and self-storage properties.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Property Manager to join our tight-knit team. This is a foundational role: as APG's first internal Property Manager, you will be central to building scalable property management systems and practices, while overseeing the lease-up of multiple newly developed apartment buildings, and ensuring operational excellence across our portfolio.

Role Overview
As a Property Manager with APG, you will have dual responsibilities: managing daily operations and supporting strategic growth. One of your key near-term objectives will be leading the lease-up of new apartments buildings, while ensuring best-in-class tenant relations, property maintenance, and operational efficiency across multiple properties.

We recognize that many tenant interactions and showings take place outside of traditional office hours. To support this, the Property Manager role offers a flexible schedule, giving you the freedom to adjust your workday and take time off during regular hours when needed. This balance allows you to manage your time effectively while still meeting the demands of evenings and weekends when required.

This role comes with a clear path to senior leadership as our platform continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead leasing and marketing efforts for new apartment, commercial and self-storage buildings to achieve timely lease-up and stable occupancy
  • Manage all aspects of the tenant lifecycle: applications, move-ins/move-outs, renewals, rent collection, arrears, and ensure compliance with NB tenancy laws and Rentalsman processes
  • Oversee security deposit management in compliance with New Brunswick regulations
  • Coordinate and track maintenance requests, vendor scheduling, and unit turnovers
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards
  • Maintain organized records for multiple properties and holding entities
  • Provide ownership with regular performance reporting (occupancy, arrears, leasing progress, maintenance)
  • Assist in selecting and implementing property management / tenant-leasing software to enhance efficiency
  • (Future) Supervise leasing agents / coordinators as our portfolio and team grow

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of property management experience
  • Bilingual considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong working knowledge of New Brunswick tenancy laws and Rentalsman procedures
  • Proactive, independent, and solutions-oriented, with strong communication skills and leadership potential
  • Experience with property-management software or leasing tools considered an asset
  • Valid NB driver's license and reliable vehicle

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and proven results
  • Performance bonuses: performance-based incentives tied to lease-up success and overall portfolio performance
  • Vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement
  • Paid time off, extended health and dental benefits
  • Defined career progression with opportunity to grow into a Senior Property Manager or leadership position

If you're a results-driven property management professional ready for a high-impact growth role, we want to hear from you!
