The opportunity

Contribute to the fulfillment of the facility's annual objectives by analyzing financial data, supporting financial reporting, and assisting with projects, often involving a strong focus on a specific area of business. Key activities include ensuring data accuracy, supporting month-end processes.

What you will do:

  • financial data analysis: collect, analyze, and interpret financial information to support decision-making;
  • general ledger support: assist with the identification, configuration, and validation of general ledger entries, including journal entries, provide assistance during system implementations or transformations;
  • month-end support: support and coordinate month-end closing procedures to ensure financial statements are accurate and timely;
  • system validation: verify system outputs, identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy, often within a corporate ERP system; and,
  • project support: assist in the implementation and support of business transformation projects, which may involve cross-functional coordination.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field;
  • 3-5 years of experience;
  • CPA designation is considered an asset but not required;
  • experience with ERP system implementation, testing, or support is an asset;
  • proficiency with financial analysis; and,
  • strong analytical ability with a keen attention to detail is essential; and,
  • excellent organizational, time management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
