Key Responsibilities:
Performs a range of semi-skilled and labor type tasks on buildings, roads, grounds, terminal stations & generating stations, dykes, dams and structures; performs cleaning, snow removal, garbage removal, landscaping, painting, sandblasting, rigging and scaffolding. Assists in performing maintenance and repairs to corporation's facilities, structures and grounds including carpentry, plumbing, painting and masonry work. Will be required to operate mobile equipment, use basic hand tools and work at heights and in confined spaces. All other duties related to or associated with this classification.
What You'll Need:
High school education and three (3) years related experience and training in relevant occupation. Completion of a certified scaffolding course. Knowledge and training in operation of mobile equipment. Shall have a thorough knowledge of all regulations and safety rules. Must possess a class 5 driver's license. An 09 - air brake endorsement would be an asset.
