The UNB Saint John MBA program is a unique, one-year program offered in an accelerated format. Students study over 5 consecutive academic modules and may participate in an experiential learning opportunity during one of the final two modules. The full-time program has yearly enrollments of over 100 students as well as approximately 30 active part-time students. The program has global reach with at least 12 countries represented within the student body each year. The teaching staff consists of full-time and contract academic employees offering a variety of general and specialized courses as well as a substantive professional development program offered by subject matter experts.

YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Manager of Operations & Partnerships, the MBA Admissions & Assessment Coordinator is responsible for the academic and regulatory oversight of the program. This position is responsible for developing and managing an admissions and assessment process that ensures the academic integrity of the MBA program and the quality of its students and graduates.
- Oversee and manage the application process for MBA candidates, including document review, eligibility checks, and admissions decisions.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with applicants throughout the admissions cycle.
- Coordinate application deadlines, admissions timelines, and communications plans with internal teams.
- Manage and maintain a system of admissions assessment that meets all requirement levels.
- Administer the bursary program including assessment of eligibility and notification.
- Record all admission decisions, conditional offers, conditions yet to be met, communication and documentation within the application system.
- Work with the MBA Director to manage Assessment Committee Membership and performance of duties to ensure timely and professional handling of Program applications.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and legitimacy of application documents according to SGS regulations.
- Prepare applications for committee by assessing applications according to the UNB grading scale.
- Maintain accurate records of applicant data using CRM and admissions systems.
- Produce regular reports on application trends, funnel performance, and cohort diversity metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of admissions processes, systems and candidates experience.
- Maintain MBA copies of student files including documentation of letters, records, communication and relevant institution decisions pertaining to the student.
- Participate in continuous learning opportunities with recognized accreditation bodies to maintain a strong grasp on admissions regulations and assessment.
- Make recommendations to MBA Director based on findings.
- Authenticate official documents according to established Admission procedures.
- Flag suspected fraudulent activities for GAU and SGS.
- Complete regular and final degree auditing.
- Provide support to the Administrative Assistant as required.
- Other duties as assigned by the MBA Director.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in university admissions.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
