Maple Hill Manor is currently seeking applications for a Temporary Full Time Recreation Programmer. Recreation Programmers are responsible to assist in the proper planning, development, evaluation and implementation of assigned recreation programs. Recreation Programmers are also responsible to ensure services are delivered in keeping with the Mission, Vision and Values of the Manor and meet the appropriate environmental and safety standards for Long Term Care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies or Social Science or minimum 2 Year Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation.
• Certified in 1st Aid & CPR.
• Experience in creating, planning, development, evaluation and implementation of assigned recreation programs.
• Experience in supervising volunteers and student placements.
• Public speaking and leadership skills.
• Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Publisher & applications.
