Job Title: Distribution Center Supervisor
Shift: Monday - Friday, 10:30am - 7:00pm
Location: Milton, ON
Salary: $60,000 - $62,000 per year

We are hiring a permanent Distribution Center Supervisor for a large DC in Milton that distributes office and packaging supplies. This role supports the second shift, and is primarily responsible for monitoring and analyzing warehouse operations to improve efficiency, identify problems, coach staff, and manage the truck routing and fleet scheduling function. This role requires intermediate Excel skills.
Job Duties:
- Supervise all aspects of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and routing to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Oversee Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) and ensure efficient processing.
- Ensure all trucks are loaded and dispatched during the second shift.
- Coach, manage, and train warehouse workers (temporary and permanent staff) .
- Create and implement warehouse SOPs to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze operational metrics (order accuracy, on-time shipping, labor utilization) and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Distribution Centre Coordinator on truck routing, driver dispatching, and staffing decisions.
- Use MS Excel to analyze KPIs, develop tracking tools, and process reports.
- Ensure safe working practices, enforce safety policies, lead inspections, and document incidents.
- Act as the operations point person for internal teams (transportation, customer service, procurement) while reporting to the Distribution Center Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidate Qualifications:
- 2+ years in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution center, with previous warehouse experience (familiar with WMS systems, scanners, forklift experience, etc.)
- Valid forklift license required (reach, counterbalance, and order picker).
- Previous experience with routing, fleet scheduling, or dispatch is preferred .
- Comfortable leading in a fast-paced, high-volume facility.
- Able to manage high-performing staff and support and coach low-performing team members.
- Strong MS Excel skills (ability to use pivot tables, lookups, analyze, filters, and dashboards). Must be analytical and detail-oriented .
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs as needed throughout a shift.
