CCA Position Temporary Full Time 80 hours bi-weekly
The CCA works collaboratively with the Nursing Department to provide our residents with quality care and attention, demonstrating professionalism and respect, adhering to policies and procedures while completing the tasks as outlined in the CCA job description.
Qualifications
- Recognized CCA certificate
- Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position as outlined in the CCA functional job analyses for North Queens Nursing Home
- Alzheimer's and related Dementia course or Gentle Persuasive Approach course would be an asset
- Ability to do shift work including 12 hour and 8 hour shifts on days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and other team members.
- Demonstrated competency using computers including internet, email, and Microsoft office.
- Regular attendance in current and previous employment
Schedule: days, nights, holidays, weekends
Rate of Pay: (As per the collective agreement)
