Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the Project Manager on various projects.
- Review tender packages prepared by other consultants and contractors.
- Review shop drawings prepared by contractors and vendors.
- Prepare tender packages for contracts.
- Prepare requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Provide technical input as a design team member for projects and other technical documentation.
- Direct and supervise consultants and contractors during the completion of specific engagements.
- Review and approve reports prepared by consultants.
- Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) as required.
- Travel to site as required to provide technical input and field support.
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a dynamic work environment.
What You'll Need:
- Electrical Engineering Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in construction projects.
- Field experience, particularly relating to hydro-electric facilities or the electrical industry in general is considered desirable.
- Must possess a valid driver license.
