Service New Brunswick (SNB) is seeking a creative, results-oriented, self-motivated individual to join the People and Culture team as a Talent and Culture Consultant – Leadership Development Lead.

Reporting to the Manager of Organizational Culture, the Talent and Culture Consultant will support Service New Brunswick in the development and implementation of initiatives stemming from its Leadership Development Framework.

The Talent and Culture Consultant will work in close collaboration with the People and Culture team to ensure the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of human resource programs and initiatives that align with organizational development goals. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with clients to access learning needs, define learning objectives and create innovative learning and development solutions (e.g., leadership development, training, coaching, team building, etc.).
  • Lead the execution of the Leadership Development Framework by maintaining existing programs and proposing new ideas and/or initiatives aligned with the needs of emerging, new, existing or experienced leaders.
  • Research best practices and trends in learning and development to design, develop and deliver impactful learning programs and/or resources.
  • Create or co-design detailed content outlines and learning materials tailored to People Leaders.
  • Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions, in both English and French.
  • Obtain certification as an Insights Practitioner; manage profile order and deliver workshops across the organization.
  • Lead the development and delivery of interactive sessions for both in-person and virtual Leadership Conferences, including selecting session topics, creating speaking notes and presentation materials, and facilitating the sessions.
  • Providing advice to client departments to ensure the successful development and/or delivery of non HR-related training, including adult learning principles, learning styles and facilitation techniques.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate HR programs and initiatives, including customized corporate solutions tailored to the unique needs of each division.
  • Partnering with the Manager of Organizational Culture on organization development items such as recognition, employee engagement, workforce development, and change management.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: University degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Sciences or a related field. A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Advanced level is required in both languages.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid driver's license as occasional travel in the province will be required
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate one or more of the following asset qualifications:

  • CPHR designation
  • Human resources experience
  • Learning and development experience
  • Experience in Insights Discovery
  • Experience in process improvement
  • Facilitation experience

Salary: $57,616 - $80,574 annually - Pay Band 4 - Management and Non-Union Pay Plan
