The company has operated in the Halifax Metropolitan Area and throughout Nova Scotia for over 35 years working on both small and large scale construction, repair and alteration projects focusing on commercial and residential construction. We are looking for a hardworking, dependable and energetic individual with a good work ethic that can work safely and without supervision, to join our company.

Duties would include:

• Troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing equipment and/or replacing defective parts, components or systems.
• Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and ensuring work meets specifications.
• Create work orders to record parts and labour. Maintain accurate records for all equipment.
• Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on equipment.
• Reading and understanding hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel schematics.

Individual must have or be willing to obtain relevant safety training and hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License. Individual must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must possess efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication and written skills, must be a team player and be able to handle many different tasks in a day. Worker must have a keen eye for detail. Worker must have at least 3 years experience and be skilled in the operation of a variety of tools and equipment used in the repair of heavy equipment. Must have experience working with compressors and fluid pumps. Must be able to work occasional overtime and weekends. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator. You must currently reside in Nova Scotia or be willing to relocate.

Starting wage of $40.00 - $45.00 per hour and a benefits package would be offered.
