Support Services Worker
Temporary Part-Time Opportunities

About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of Support Services, the Support Services Worker provides integrated support across housekeeping, laundry, and food services. This position plays a vital role in maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable surroundings while contributing to the delivery of high-quality meals for residents.

In this role, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, common spaces, and preparing rooms for new admissions.
• Provide laundry services by collecting, washing, drying, folding, labeling, and delivering resident clothing and linens.
• Support food services through meal preparation assistance, meal delivery, hydration passes, dishwashing, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Work closely with residents and the care team to support preferences, promote companionship, and assist with household events and activities.
• Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols, reporting concerns as needed.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, food services, or long-term care is considered an asset.
• Willingness to embrace a person-driven culture and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to follow established safety protocols and infection control practices.
