Bay Side Home is a licensed long-term care facility, located at 96 Bayside Drive in Barrington, and home to sixty-two residents.

Continuing Care Assistants
Temporary Full-Time and Temporary Part-Time Opportunities

About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of Care, the Continuing Care Assistant is responsible for providing residents with holistic personal care. You will work collaboratively with residents, their families, and the Bay Side Home team to provide Care at its Best.

In this role, you will:

• Provide complete personal care to residents, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Communicate closely with the LPN/RN.
• Attend and participate in resident footprint (care plan) meetings.
• Document and report any changes in residents' conditions to the neighborhood nurse.
• Follow Bay Side Home's safe lift and transfer protocols, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• Provincial Continuing Care Assistant certificate, or actively working toward certification (RN, LPN & CCA students are encouraged to apply).
• Experience providing resident-centered care and willingness to embrace a person-driven culture.
• Experience in a long-term care setting is considered an asset.
