Service New Brunswick is seeking an individual to join the Health Services division as an Executive Assistant providing senior-level administrative support to the Executive Director and the Saint John Laundry facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for
- Providing administrative support
- Coordinating meetings and information packages
- Briefing and follow-up on direct inquiries and matters requiring attention
- Handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Managing travel arrangements and expenses
- Organizing and maintaining digital filing systems and coordinating signatures
- Prioritizing and maintaining schedules with appropriate briefings
- Managing front-desk reception and incoming calls
- Responsible for receiving and invoice processing
- All other duties as required
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED supplemented by two (2) years of progressively responsible related work experience, including a minimum of one year of related work experience directly supporting a senior executive. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate:
- One (1) year post-secondary program in a related field.
- Knowledge of the government administrative processes, practices and procedures
- Extensive experience working directly with a senior executive in an administrative capacity
Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The following operational requirement is also required:
- Occasional travel within the province is required, and you must possess a valid driver's license.

Salary: $42, 016 - $59, 202 annually - Pay Band 1 - Management and Non-Union Pay Plan
