This position could be located in Hackett's Cove, Nova Scotia or Bangor, Maine. For the right candidate based in the USA, there is the possibility of remote work. All require travel.
A position has arisen for an Electronic Technician (hours of work could range from 7am to 8.30pm - 8 hours per day) to work in our world-class Customer Service department. The successful candidate can look forward to a variety of challenges including:
- Providing technical support for all Nautel Products
- Working with customers to solve their problems
- Working closely with the Engineering department on both new product introduction and existing products
- Delivery and design of customer training
- Travel to our customer base throughout the world
Candidates should have:
- The ability to interpret technical procedures
- Electronic technician certification or equivalent
- Demonstrated aptitude for providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using electronic test equipment
- Ability to provide written reports and proposals
- Effective analytical skills to include the ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work well with others and operate effectively in a team environment
- Ability and initiative to perform well when alone in the field
- Ability to travel extensively worldwide, sometimes at short notice
- Ability to be part of an on-call rota
