The role we are looking to fill is in our Drafting team, and offers the opportunity to develop your skills, working as part of a team, as well as independently.

The successful candidate can look forward to being responsible for:

Performing design tasks in accordance with standard drafting standards using SolidWorks 3D Software including Composer for assembly and manufacturing of product. You will be involved in the Mechanical design of the transmitter structure, as well as the creation and updates of assembly drawings, handbook drawings and fabrication drawings

Qualifications

Candidates should have:

  • A working knowledge of 3D CAD (SolidWorks);
  • Working knowledge of industry practices;
  • Use of computer programs including Microsoft office,
  • A two-year mechanical drafting course and/or equivalent experience, with the prior experience being within a design and manufacturing environment, ideally in a production capacity;
  • The ability to meet deadlines;
  • A focus on the accuracy and completeness of work performed;
  • The ability to troubleshoot;
  • The ability to function effectively as part of a team as well as independently;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • A focus on continuous improvement and continuous learning.
