A broad line food service company operating in Nova Scotia is seeking the services of a Warehouse System and Distribution Manager. As a working Warehouse System and Distribution Manager this candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of all aspects of shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse management, and fleet management. This position reports directly to the President of the company.

Prerequisites:

• Proven management experience
• Distribution experience in the food service or related field
• Warehouse experience in product placement, product pick flow, order fulfillment
• Experience with inventory scan and automated radio frequency order pick technology
• Computer experience as it relates to warehouse and routing
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience and understanding of working in a HACCP certified distribution centre will be considered an asset
