What you will do

As an Office Supervisor, you will work under the direction of the District Finance Manager and be responsible for:

  • providing leadership, guidance, and support to employees, while ensuring effective teamwork and performance;
  • coordinating day-to-day office operations including oversight of administrative procedures and internal controls;
  • providing financial support such as monitoring budgets, processing invoices, reconciling accounts;
  • managing financial reports, correspondence, and recordkeeping, ensuring accurate filing of administrative and financial documents;
  • responding to internal and external inquiries and supporting the District;
  • maintaining spreadsheets, databases and financial tracking systems;
  • monitoring inventory and coordinating office supply procurement.

Work environment:

  • Office location: Woodstock District Office.
  • Standard hours of work: Monday-Friday – 8:15am-4:30pm.

Essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED supplemented by the successful completion of a one (1) year post-secondary program in a related field such as business, accounting or office administration.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience in administrative and/or financial support roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

Asset Qualifications:

Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate:

  • experience in accounting and/or finance.

SALARY:

Administrative Services Level 4: $1816 to $2205 bi-weekly, based on 36.25 hours per week
