Role Description:

As a Project Manager, you are the key contact with the client and you will work collaboratively with Site Supervision on a daily basis to build effective relationships and ensure the project is delivered on-time and on-budget with a high quality of craftsmanship.

You will have exceptional planning and scheduling skills, you will manage budgets and resources, communicate with key partners and stakeholders, ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations, and identify and resolve issues as they arise. Your role reports to the Operations Manager and requires excellent organizational and communication skills, strong focus and attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a strong commitment to achieving project objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle project management including planning, scheduling, and requisitioning of materials and resources or labour
  • Collaborate and coordinate daily with the client and Site Supervisors and sub-trades, managing site and company safety policies and programs
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor timeline progress
  • Proficient in reviewing shop drawing for accuracy and completeness; experience with AutoCAD an assest
  • Direct the purchase of materials; utilize quantity take-off procedures
  • Prepare required logs and reports

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of construction management experience
  • Post-secondary education (degree, certificate or diploma) in construction management, engineering, architectural technology, or a related field
  • Additional training or certification in project management an asset
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and planning skills
  • Exceptional people leadership and communication skills
  • Previous experience in project management software such as Procore, Premier, Salus or Microsoft Projects is an asset
