Jump Recruitment is recruiting for a Temporary Accounting Administrator for an immediate opening with our client in the St. John's area. This is an office-based position with full-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process cash receipts (EFT, credit cards, cheques, and wire transfers).
- Monitor remittance emails, labelling, and follow-ups.
- Process all incoming AP vendor invoices.
- Handle credit card payments for client invoices.
- Assist periodically with collections of accounts receivable, including scheduled follow-ups, resolving outstanding issues, and processing monthly AR statements.
- Provide reception support: answering phones, greeting clients, managing voicemail, distributing mail, emails, and courier envelopes.
- Perform other administrative and accounting duties as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting and/or office administration.
- Post-secondary education, with a minimum 2-year diploma in Office or Business Administration.
- Proven experience with Sage 300 is considered a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other accounting software packages.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to excellent customer service.
