We are looking for a motivated and energetic training professional to join the ERP Project's Change Management Team on a two-year contract as a Trainer/Training Developer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role will be focused on ensuring staff and other stakeholders in GNB departments, school districts and community colleges are trained and prepared for upcoming changes to the way they work and/or access their services.
Reporting to the ERP Training lead, you will work collaboratively with members of our project team over multiple streams of work including, Finance, Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits, and Procurement to help achieve our mandate by:
- designing learning experiences and curriculums using multiple training methodologies based on sound instructional design principles
- developing and delivering traditional instructor-led classroom learning, e-learning/module-based courses, and how-to videos
- developing and enhancing learning aids, tools and resources that promote an overall creative and interactive learning experience, this includes non-system related training
- collaborating with our business partners to identify their training needs
- building training delivery plans, schedules and supporting our trainer community, and,
- delivering and moderating training.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates should have:
- a university degree in business, education, computer science, human resources, or a related field, with a minimum of four years related work experience, or
- a two-year college diploma in instructional design, human resource management, or a related field, with a minimum of six years related work experience.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. This position will work in both official languages on a regular basis. Please state your language capability on your application.
Operational Requirements: Inter-provincial travel will be required. Must have a valid NB drivers license.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference may be given to candidates that possess one or more of the following asset qualifications:
- Experience developing and delivering system-based training
- Experience with group facilitation.
- Experience working with people leaders.
- Experience working in a project-based work environment.
- Designation or certificate in change management, training and/or facilitation
- Experience using online training and video development tools
