We are currently seeking a Finance Data Analyst to join our Finance team based in the Firm's Halifax, NS office.

Type of Position: Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity:

The Firm's Finance Data Analyst plays a key role in managing the Firm's financial data processes, documentation, and data transformation to support accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. With a focus on data integrity, automation, and control, this technically proficient and detail-oriented individual ensures the efficiency and scalability of financial reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for querying databases, developing and maintaining advanced Excel models, enhancing reporting tools, and creating innovative BI solutions to enable decision making.

The successful candidate will also collaborate across departments, maintain data dictionaries and pipelines, enforce data consistency and support finance controls and data governance processes. Additionally, they will provide training and contribute to various finance initiatives and special projects.

If you possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or a related field, are proficient in Microsoft Excel & SQL Server & have 2-5 years' experience in a similar role - this might be the right opportunity for you!
