The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an Administrator - Project Management Office to join our Information Technology team in Toronto/Sudbury.
This is a permanent onsite position open in Toronto/Sudbury.
As an Administrator - Project Management Office (PMO), you will support the project management team by offering administrative and technical assistance. The role involves ensuring the seamless coordination and execution of IT projects, maintaining project documentation, and supporting the use of project management tools and systems. Your experience and skill will allow you to support the development and implementation of PMO policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Additionally, in this position you will:
- Facilitate the use of technology to streamline project processes, automate routine tasks, and enhance productivity.
- Monitor project progress by gathering and analyzing data, tracking milestones, and ensuring that project timelines are adhered to.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure alignment and understanding of project objectives through regular meetings and communications.
- Develop and maintain templates and documentation standards to support project consistency and quality.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and meeting minutes.
- Assist in the assessment and improvement of project management processes and tools by gathering feedback and suggesting enhancements.
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other agile methodology certification
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years in Project management or relevant experience.
Skills:
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and software, including Excel and Power BI, for generating insights and visualizations.
- Experience with document management systems and version control platforms to ensure proper documentation and revision control.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Trello for planning, tracking, and managing projects.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Adaptability to change

- Active listening with stakeholders, collaboration and teamwork
- Strong influencing and communications skills
- Portuguese and / or French language is considered an asset
