We are currently seeking a Legal Support Clerk to join our team based in our Charlottetown, PE office.
Type of Position: Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity:
An integral member of our administration team, the Firm's Legal Support Clerks are responsible for providing support to the Litigation & Administration teams in the Charlottetown office.
In particular, the successful candidate will be responsible for scanning files, pulling duplicate documents, retrieving files from storage, and delivering files throughout the office. They will also prioritize and route incoming emails, coordinate the sending and receiving of faxes, compile data to assist in drafting responses to external client correspondence, and track documents going to and from the courthouse.
In addition, this role involves preparing a broad range of documents and correspondence-both general and confidential-based on digital dictation, rough drafts, notes, or verbal instructions, as well as saving and organizing files in our online document management system. Reception desk coverage and handling daily office deliveries and pickups are also part of the position.
Occasionally, the successful candidate may be required to move or lift heavy items.
If you possess a certificate or diploma in Business or Office Administration, have experience in an office environment, the ability to problem solve and have a high degree of organization and attention to detail, we want to hear from you!
