Job Title: MIG Welder

Location: Scarborough, Ontario (Near Kennedy & Finch)
Shift/Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm; Friday, 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
Pay Rate: $27.00-30.00/hr

Join our client's team at a cutting-edge metal manufacturing facility in Scarborough. They specialize in high-quality metal fabrication, serving clients across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. The state-of-the-art facility features laser cutters, metal punching machines, robotic welding, and sheet metal bending.

We are seeking a skilled welder with expertise in MIG welding, and preferably some experience in TIG welding. Our client is open to training individuals with limited TIG experience. This is a dynamic job shop where flexibility is key - while welding is the primary focus, candidates should be open to supporting other areas of the shop when welding work is not available.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience
• Previous TIG experience nice to have
• Comfortable assisting with other shop duties including operating brakes/machines, helping with assembly, running metal sheets on a laser, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean welds
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficient in using hand tools and measuring equipment
• Previous tack welding experience is a plus
• Fitting experience is an asset, but not required
• CWB certificates/tickets are preferred but not mandatory
• Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• CSA-approved safety shoes required
• Flexibility to work additional hours if needed
