Electrical Engineer or Automation Engineer

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical or Automation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. What You'll Do

As a key member of our engineering department, you'll work on the design and development of state-of-the-art control systems and equipment, with responsibilities including:

• Solving real-world challenges with creative, functional engineering solutions
• Designing and programming PLC, PC-based, and motion control systems
• Developing pneumatic systems and implementing M-CAD and E-CAD designs
• Writing and maintaining service/operation manuals and bills of materials (BOM)
• Supporting manufacturing, sales, and service teams with hands-on technical expertise

Preferred Skills & Experience

We're looking for candidates who bring technical expertise and collaborative energy, ideally with experience in:

• IEC 61131 programming languages (structured text, function block)
• Motion control and robotics
• C++, C#, Visual Basic.NET, Visual Studio
• Windows OS and real-time programming environments
• Integration of PC and PLC hardware
• Strong communication skills and customer-service focus
• Project management and team collaboration

The following qualifications are considered:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent industry training/experience
• Experience with PLC programming and automation systems
• Proficiency in E-CAD and 3D CAD software
• Registered or Eligibility for registration with APEGNB

Considered an Asset (Not Required):

• Experience with robotics or motion control systems
• Familiarity with C++ or Visual Studio programming
• Previous experience working in an international team environment
