Responsibilities:

Eric G. Lambert School is a K-12 private school of 151 students and 19 teaching units. The school is operated by NL Hydro and follows the prescribed curriculum of the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Education. In this role, you will provide educational support to all students from K-12. You will also ensure that the student's safety and personal care needs are met. Eric G. Lambert School requires Substitute Teachers for the 2022-2023 school year.

You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the Corporation's Safety and Health Program. You will also be responsible for any environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.

Job Requirements:

You must possess a University Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, preferably a Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent, and hold a valid NL teaching certificate. For Emergency Substitutes, you must possess a minimum of a 4 year university degree and/or a 3 year college diploma. Please note substitutes are required for all grade levels from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

A recent criminal background check and vulnerable sector check are also required.

Relocation is not provided for this position - the successful candidate must reside in Churchill Falls.
