Meridia Recruitment is pleased to partner with Carol Lake Metal Works on the recruitment of a personable, mechanically minded Sales Representative. In this role, you'll build trusted relationships to expand relationships with existing clients, promoting new product offerings, and providing tailored solutions to meet the specific needs to each client and operation.

Carol Lake Metal Works is the only licensed Hardox Wear Parts Center in the region. What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed revenue goals in Labrador and Quebec.
  • Represent Carol Lake Metal Works to clients as the go-to supplier for mining wear parts and structural components.
  • Conduct regular site visits, offer hands-on product support, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Identify new opportunities through market research, cold calls, and industry events.
  • Perform on-site inspections and provide detailed performance reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align offerings with client needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in our ERP system.

Who You Are:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in inside/outside sales, with a focus in heavy equipment and mining products.
  • You may also be a mechanic or Heavy Equipment Operator with excellent communication skills and the interest and capacity to step into a sales role.
  • You ideally possess strong knowledge of GET, cutting edges, structural steel, and other wear items relevant to the mining industry.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth. (Asset)
  • You are self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • You are comfortable with traveling and working both in the office and in the field.
