Job Qualifications:
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing and successful completion of the Nurse Practitioner Program are required.
- Current registration with the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador.
- Certification with the Canadian Nurses? Association in Gerontological Nursing is preferred.
- The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of competency in organizational, leadership, interpersonal, team building, communication, decision making and computer skills through an interview process.
- The successful candidate should possess considerable clinical experience in the care of the older adult population.
- The incumbent must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is essential.
- Experience working independently and a willingness to travel are also required.
- Maintaining certification in BCLS is also required.
- A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
