Salary:

NP35 (CAD52.31 - CAD64.92 per hour)

The following Incentives may be applicable and can be combined:

1. Signing bonus up to $10,000 (up to $14,000 if facility is located off the TCH)
2. Come Home Incentive up to $60,000
3. Health Professional Bursary (student) up to $10,000
4. Relocation support

Job Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing and successful completion of the Nurse Practitioner Program are required.
  • Current registration with the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador.
  • Certification with the Canadian Nurses? Association in Gerontological Nursing is preferred.
  • The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of competency in organizational, leadership, interpersonal, team building, communication, decision making and computer skills through an interview process.
  • The successful candidate should possess considerable clinical experience in the care of the older adult population.
  • The incumbent must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is essential.
  • Experience working independently and a willingness to travel are also required.
  • Maintaining certification in BCLS is also required.
  • A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
