Hybrid - In office upon request

Number of positions: 2 full-time positions (1 permanent position and 1 12-month contract position).

Reporting to the Team Leader, Clients Solutions, as a Data specialist, you are responsible for managing existing interfaces and participating in the management of customers who use our flexible group insurance plan administration system. You manage different phases of business, ensuring that deadlines are met. You oversee the follow-ups and customer support required during the change. You work in close communication with various internal and external stakeholders throughout the process.

You employ a process improvement approach, make recommendations and foster automation in the development of administrative tools to facilitate the administration of group insurance plans. You may also be called upon to work on the implementation of new autoloads, set up new customers on our flexible group insurance plan administration system, and work on initial loading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage deliverables, timelines, and projects with minimal supervision (complex interfaces (HRIS, Payroll), macros, initial and ad hoc data loads).
  • Coordinate renewals for clients using our Flexit group insurance administration system.
  • Design test plans, execute test scenarios, and oversee the implementation of changes.
  • Organize kick-off meetings and configure plans based on client requirements.
  • Document procedures, recommend process improvements, and promote automation.
  • Provide technical support and act as the primary point of contact for issue resolution.
  • Ensure effective communication with internal teams and external partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • College or university degree, or equivalent experience in needs analysis.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in group insurance (experience with a flexible group insurance plan administration system is an asset).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and the Office Suite.
  • Good knowledge of interfaces (asset).
  • Ability to analyze and manipulate complex data.
  • Strong customer service mindset, teamwork skills, and communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is required
