The Managing Director (MD) provides visionary leadership to advance the company's mission by delivering strategic direction, operational excellence, and team development. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the MD is accountable for the overall success and growth of Yes Capital Inc. that is aligned with the parent organization, East Coast Credit Union (ECCU), and regional partners. The MD fosters a unified, high-performing organizational culture, and inspires a talented team to deliver strong financial performance. They are responsible for aligning internal operations with regional goals and advancing the organization's mission through innovation, collaboration, and excellent client service. Working collaboratively with the Board and ECCU leadership, the MD is responsible for translating strategy into results through robust operational plans, sound financial and risk management, and effective community partner engagement. A values-based leader, the MD plays a critical role in driving both social and economic impact, ensuring alignment with East Coast Credit Union's ESG and social responsibility values framework.

The ideal candidate has more than 10 years of relevant experience with at least five years in senior management leading strategy execution, organizational change, and strong team performance. They will demonstrate a track record of embracing and leading growth and organizational maturity, ideally in the financial services sector with expertise in commercial and retail lending, where equal parts relationship building and business development complement robust regulatory compliance, risk management, and credit recovery systems and processes. The Managing Director has an undergraduate degree in a related field (i.e. business, finance) preferably with a graduate degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience. Experience working with a board of directors in a commercial enterprise is an asset. A growth-oriented, collaborative, and community-minded leader, they possess strong strategic and financial acumen and have a proven track record of cultivating effective partnerships and high-performance culture.
