Job Title: Class 5 Courier Driver (5T)

Hourly Rate: $21
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Advantage Personnel is currently hiring a Class 5 Driver (5T) on behalf of our client in St. John's, NL. This is a full-time, weekday role ideal for a reliable, safety-conscious professional who is passionate about customer service and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.

Position Overview:
You'll assist in loading and unloading shipments, maintain a clean and safe work environment, operate a forklift (training provided), and ensure prompt, professional deliveries and pickups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class 5 vehicle for deliveries and pickups
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks safely and efficiently
• Operate a forklift (training provided)
• Deliver outstanding customer service at every stop
• Accurately manage daily delivery and pickup documentation
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Report any accidents, incidents, or equipment issues promptly

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a 5-ton truck
• Driver's abstract and criminal background check
• Strong knowledge of local geography and roadways
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. using proper equipment
• Team-oriented, dependable, and safety-focused
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
