POSITION: Continuing Care Assistant / Personal Care Worker
TYPE: Full-Time (TERM), 6 positions
JOB PURPOSE: PROVIDES 1:1 QUALITY CARE TO RESIDENTS by Meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the residents while promoting their well being.

Villa Acadienne/Villa d 'la Baie are long term care facilities that has adopted the Eden Alternative Philosophy of Care. We're moving away from a medical model of care and transforming our home into a place where residents can continue to grow and live full lives.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:

• Nova Scotia Certification as a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA), or
• Nova Scotia Certification as Personal Care Worker earlier then 2006 and have been working in that capacity for 12 months prior
