Salary:

LX32 (CAD38.14 - CAD48.37 per hour)

The following Incentives may be applicable and can be combined:

  • Signing bonus up to $10,000 (up to $14,000 if facility is located off the TCH ? Rural Sites)
  • Health Professional Bursary (student) up to $10,000

Job Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology Program.
  • Current and continued registration with Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Sciences (CSMLS) as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
  • Completion of an approved Cytology Program with a diploma in Diagnostic Cytology.
  • Extensive laboratory experience: minimum of five (5) years out of the last six (6) years in Cytology.
  • Certificate in Quality Systems or commitment to complete approved program in a specified time frame.
  • The ability to demonstrate a superior level of knowledge in Cytology in order to function in a leadership capacity is required.

Conditions of Employment

  • Proof of educational qualifications as required.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check from the local police authority.
  • Other Conditions of employment (such as Vulnerable Sector Check, driver?s license, license to practice, etc.)
  • Education or training to be completed upon hire (e.g. The successful applicant must be willing to complete Electronic Medical Record training at the first available opportunity as determined by the employer)
