Executive Assistant
Dash Social is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to our Cofounder and CEO. You will be responsible for providing executive-level support and taking on cross-functional responsibilities that require a deep understanding of our operations and strategic priorities. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, tech savvy, an excellent communicator, and thrives in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
This role is in-office Monday to Friday from Dash Social's head office in downtown Halifax.
As the Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Cofounder and CEO Support:
- Managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence internally and externally.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to review content to ensure appropriate quality before Cofounder and CEO review.
- Manage travel arrangements, including: flights, accommodations, itineraries, and any necessary required travel documentation.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and follow up on action items to ensure seamless business function.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Work with stakeholders to coordinate events and/or speaking arrangements that the Cofounder and CEO is attending.
- Provide support on internal and external communications.
- Provide general personal assistant (PA) work when necessary.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Strong organizational skills with obsessive attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive mindset and problem-solving attitude.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, calendar management tools, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or other emerging AI tools.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
