Purpose of Position:
Being part of a team professionally representing Air Canada Express you are responsible to work closely with crew scheduling, maintenance, Jazz Charter department, Jazz Flight Ops, Load Planning, and Air Canada RMOPS (Revenue Management).
Key Responsibilities:
- Present a positive and professional role model while maintaining a high personal standard of performance with respect to all Company policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Provide all Departure Control functions for the Jazz Aviation network during day-of-flight operations.
- Responsible for all Flight Crew Deadhead travel reservation bookings.
- Responsible for all Maintenance travel reservation related to AOG (Aircraft On Ground) Aircraft.
- Monitor emails on FOSAP (Flight Deck Observer Seat Access Program) for jump seat requests and provide gate comments in the Altea Passenger Service reservation system.
- Update APIS tool for Transborder Jump seat FOSAP requests.
- Ensure Jazz Charter flightsand Special Ops Promotional Flights are created and in suitable state for passenger check-in through the Altea Passenger Service System.
- Create Jazz Charter Reservation bookings from the passenger manifest provided by the contracting agent. Check-in, board and close flight accordingly.
- Manage and monitor the Crew Exception Table System.
- Emergency Response in the event of an incident, check list process and procedures.
- Encourage an open, honest, and supportive work environment stressing teamwork and open dialogue.
- Liaise with internal departments and external agencies as necessary.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of airport customer service and/or airline operations experience
- Bilingual (French/English) will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Movement Control/OpsWeb is an asset
- Strong computer skills are required.
