Accounts Payable & Maintenance Administrator

Jump Recruitment Specialists has partnered with Hunt's Logistics to find a driven and dynamic Accounts Payable & Maintenance Administrator to join their growing team in St. John's.

We're seeking a proactive, detail-driven individual to join our team in a hybrid role that combines accounts payable duties with essential coordination of maintenance records and operational data. This position plays a vital role in supporting both our accounting and maintenance teams, ensuring our fleet operates efficiently and seamlessly.

Position Details:

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Administrator Responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders and vendor invoices using TMT software.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and assist with maintenance reporting.
  • Manage fleet registrations, certifications, transponders, and safety binders to maintain regulatory compliancy
  • Coordinate with vendors to support maintenance operations.
  • Report on Maintenance expenditures to support management in planning and budgeting

Accounts Payable Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Post invoices in Sage 300.
  • Receive invoices from vendors, identify any discrepancies, and review them with the Assistant Controller.
  • Maintain both digital and physical records of invoices.
  • Keep vendor information up to date and regularly review vendor statements.
  • Perform credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain organized accounts payable documentation.

What You Bring:

  • Post-secondary education in administration, accounting, or a related field with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in transportation or maintenance is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of TMT Maintenance software is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Sage 300 is preferred but not required.
