RN - Registered Nurse

Position: RN - Registered Nurse
Pay Rate: $45.95 per hour
Shift: Casual On-Call (Days, Afternoons, Nights, Weekends)
Location: Glenburnie

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating high-quality resident care within our nursing units. You'll serve as both a clinical expert and educator, providing care in accordance with the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario and Long-Term Care Homes regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care based on the Gentle care™ philosophy
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing care within your scope of practice
• Oversee and manage care plans
• Follow physician orders to ensure comprehensive nursing care
• Foster a safe and comfortable environment for all residents
• Demonstrate expertise in using nursing care equipment
• Work with the medical team, specialists, and consultants to ensure effective clinical care for residents
• Administer medications (Med Pass)
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• Current, unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience (preferably in long-term care or a geriatric setting)
• Current CPR certification
• Satisfactory Police Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check
• Proof of a valid TB test (within last year)
• CNO registration
