Warehouse/Dock Worker (Night Shift)

Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Shift: Monday: 12 am to 8 am and Tuesday-Friday: 1 am to 9 am (full-time)
Location: Ottawa East

We're seeking, on behalf of our client, a positive and reliable warehouse associate to work full-time for one of the largest healthcare transportation companies in the country. The successful candidate will apply their skills and professionalism to help maintain the highest quality standards that the company is known for. Within this position, you will be responsible for loading and unloading the trucks and keeping the warehouse organized. This client is in Ottawa East.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving trailers overnight.
• Sorting the freight by the delivery staff.
• Breaking down pallets and loading the conveyor belt.
• Staging parcels by delivery doors and wrapping complete skids.
• Assist drivers with unloading and loading trucks.
• Additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, push, and pull.
• Physically able to lift up to 55 lbs during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours to perform job-related tasks.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• CSA approved steel-toed safety boots are required for safety reasons.
• Criminal record check may be required as part of the onboarding process.
