Title: Daytime Warehouse Sorter Part-Time

Pay: $17.20/hr

Shifts: 3 days a week (Monday (fixed), Wednesday & Thursday)

Hours: 8 am - 4 pm

Location: Ottawa East

Details:

We are looking for a Warehouse Sorter to work with our client who provides emergency food relief to people in need in the Ottawa area. This company grows, collects, purchases, and sorts food for distribution. You would be working with a highly respected client that helps Ottawa and surrounding areas for those in need.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing incoming and outgoing nonperishable food products
• Stocking shelves
• Picking orders
• Moving freight around the warehouse and off trucks using pallet jacks
• Additional duties as requested by lead hand
• Steel-toed boots are required for safety

Requirements:

• A motivated worker with at least 2 years of order selector experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment
• Experience operating a rider pallet jack machine
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift products for extended periods of time in multi-temperature environments
• CSA approved steel-toed safety boots are required for safety reasons
• Criminal record check may be required as part of the onboarding process
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as part of a team, and with little to no supervision
