We are growing! Arthur Murray Dance Centres Halifax® is excited to be adding to our team of professional dance instructors. We are currently hiring for Dance Instructor. Whether you have years of dance and/or dance instructor experience or none at all, you could have a successful future with us! As a high energy, customer-focused instructor, you will conduct private and group dance classes throughout the week. You and our team will help students to reach their personal dance goals through many different ways - from a single event to a lifelong journey of dance growth.

We maintain regular studio hours throughout the week from 1-10pm, Monday-Friday. We also host many events that take place on some weekends and around the world, which you will need and want to attend with your students.

Job Qualifications:

§ Dance experience (preferred ballroom), but NOT required

§ A willingness to learn a variety of different dance styles

§ Interpersonal Communication / People Skills

§ Independent transportation to studio, located in Bayers Lake

§ Fun, Outgoing, Energetic

§ Part-time 25-hour week, with potential to work 40 hours/ week

§ Work Hours for this position: Monday - Friday 5-10pm

§ Job Type: Part-time to start

§ Pay: $18+/ hour
