Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Moncton, NB

Wage: $18.00-$22/hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move materials and products within a warehouse or construction site. This requires adherence to safety standards, careful handling of goods, and efficient organization of inventory.

Job Details:

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or designated worksite.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and storage locations.
• Assist in the receiving and shipping process by transferring products to and from loading docks, storage areas, and other designated locations.
• Ensure proper stacking and organization of products to maximize storage space and improve workflow efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
• Keep the work area clean and free of hazards, ensuring safety compliance at all times.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding safety and material handling.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license (OSHA or equivalent preferred).
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, industrial, or construction environment (preferred).
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
